Broken Love (Pretty Ugly)
Your scent is enough to make me bleed.
I'm high off of the pheromones that you leave.
I listen for your heels at night on the damp concrete.
Your love is hard to get, like what's under your feet.
Me and you have a connection, lock and key perhaps.
That's nothing compared to the path we mapped.
I love you more than me, and somehow that's wrong.

See I was an animal before you, vicious, but loyal.
Now you've tamed me, just to exploit moods.
You made me question my abilities, I let you hinder me willingly.
I gave you my last dime, yet more cash spilled from me.
Credit cards maxed, different city, higher tax.
All for you to look nice in pricier bags.
I told you I loved you, you thought that meant fund you.
You put yourself on a level I couldn't get up to.
I feel the anger bubbling over, the animal is back.
You're pretty but you're ugly.... your insides told me that.

He let flame to the Qur'an....
This blog is based on the story of the "pastor" Terry Jones who recently burned the Holy Qur'an. Read the story here:
I feel this is blown out of proportion, now before you get upset let me explain. See I'm not a Muslim, I am a Christian. I don't know any of the beliefs they ascribe to and what type of religious rituals they perform. All I know is what I know.
Now.... let's say someone burned a Bible and I got wind of it. I wouldn't kill the people similar to the individual that did it. This is what happened to some American civilians overseas as a result of Terry's actions. Is he to blame? Yes and no. Sure he enraged them and that led to them executing these people, but he cannot control other people, he can only control himself.
I said it is blown out of proportion because people are not thinking clearly. If someone burned a Bible I would think it was wrong but I would not let it control my emotions because there are millions of Bible's in the world!! I understand that it is highly disrespectful, but people take on the role of God too often. God will handle him for the hate seeds he is sowing. A pastor is supposed to be a symbol of God's divine love and wisdom transmitted through his or her vessel. This "pastor" is an agent of deception who's motivation is to rile up the Muslims and make the Christian's appear to be intolerant of other religions. This also makes America even MORE hated.
The most important issue here is the loss of lives.... burning a book does not change what the book contained. If you know what God says in your heart and mind, why let a MAN move you to such extremes?
To all my Muslim readers I apologize for his behavior. I got love for everyone so if you're a Muslim, be proud of it!

Lovers
Lovers quarrel.
Lovers fight.
Lovers snarl.
Lovers like....different things mixed pain with pleasure.
Torn clothes adorn rooms but the wounds don't get better.
Look at this bed soaked with different oils.
Mixture of body heat brings their blood to a boil.
Love unpredictable yet it feel rehearsed.
Chicken or the egg debate which came first.
Neither will admit due to the constant power struggle.
Judgment placed on shape so there's jeers for lack of muscle.
She looks at him after that "made up" for the last time.
She's disoriented wondering, "Is this his house or mine?"
She puts on her shoes in his presence for the last time, sure of their fit.
She said, "I don't know what's worse, you telling me you love me & not meaning it, or you telling it to me & I believed it."
